British filmfest Exit 6 to screen Iran animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’

Iran animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’ is to be screened at Exit 6 filmfest.

Iranian animation ‘Ascribed Achievements’, directed by Samaneh Shojaie, has been scheduled to be screened at the second edition of Exit 6 Film Festival, the UK.

The short film will go on screen in the competition section of the event on September 23, 2017.

50 short films will compete in this section to win the Best Short Film Award of the festival.

The animation, which is a new experience with grotesque narration and real images, tells the story of an old boy, who is dissatisfied with his inborn appearance and decides to end his life. But his failed suicide leads to a new situation in his life.

The Exit 6 Film Festival is an international film festival which takes place annually in Basingstoke, UK, at the end of September. The festival is a celebration of independent short film from around the world, providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase and discuss their work, directly connecting with the audience.
